The work
What this covers
A lawn is only as good as what is underneath it. We strip the failed turf, correct the grade so water runs away from the house, then rotovate and amend the soil before anything green goes down. Sod laid on compacted builder’s clay looks perfect for a month and then dies in patches.
You choose sod for an instant result or seed for a hardier, cheaper finish. Either way you leave with a watering schedule and a first-mow date, because the fortnight after installation decides whether it takes.
- Grading and drainage correction Falls set away from the foundation before turf goes down
- Soil preparation Rotovated, amended and levelled — not sod dropped on hardpan
- Sod or seed Instant finish, or a hardier lawn established from seed
- Establishment plan Watering schedule and first-mow timing in writing

Walkthrough
We hand over on site, and the two-year guarantee starts.
Our guarantee
If it moves, we come back
Everything we build carries a two-year workmanship guarantee on top of whatever the material manufacturer offers. That is not a marketing line — it is why we spend the money on base depth and drainage that a cheaper quote skips.
The crew that built it is the crew that comes back. There is no warranty department to argue with.
- Two-year workmanship guarantee in writing
- Material warranties registered in your name
- The original crew handles any callback
- No charge for anything that is our workmanship
Good to know
Common questions
How long until I can walk on it?
Two to three weeks for sod. Seed needs a full season before hard use.
Sod or seed?
Sod for an instant result and for slopes, seed for large areas and a tougher long-term lawn.
Do you fix drainage first?
Always. New turf over a wet spot just buys you the same problem again.
When is the best time to lay it?
Spring and early autumn. Mid-summer works but needs far more water.
How much watering does it need?
Daily for the first two weeks, then tapering over about six weeks.
Will it match my existing lawn?
We match the seed blend where we can, but a seam is usually visible for a season.
Do you remove the old lawn?
Yes, it is stripped and taken away rather than rotovated in.
What if it fails?
If it is watered to the plan we give you and it fails, we replace it.
Can you fix bare patches instead?
Yes, patch repair is cheaper where the base lawn is sound.
Do you top-dress or aerate?
Both, as part of a renovation rather than a full replacement.
