Landscape Lighting Experts

Low-voltage path, uplighting and facade schemes — zoned, transformer-sized and installed to code.

The work

What this covers

Good lighting doubles the hours you actually use your garden, and it does more for kerb appeal after dark than anything else you can spend the money on. We design the scheme around what is worth looking at — a specimen tree, the stonework, the line of a path — rather than dotting fittings along the edge and hoping.

Everything is low-voltage, run in buried cable to a correctly sized transformer, with zones you can switch separately. Fittings are solid brass or copper: they weather rather than corrode, and they are still serviceable in ten years.

  • Lighting design A plan showing fixture types, positions and zones before anything is bought
  • Correct transformer sizing Calculated to load, so lamps run at full brightness and last
  • Buried cable runs Trenched and sleeved, not pegged along the surface
  • Solid brass fittings Weather to a patina instead of rusting out in three seasons

Why us

What you actually get for the money

Every quote covers the same standards, whichever service you are booking.

  • A fixed price

Quoted against a drawing or a measured scope, not an hourly estimate that drifts.

  • Licensed and insured

Certificates go out with the proposal without being asked for.

  • Built to depth

Bases excavated and compacted in layers — the part nobody sees and everything depends on.

  • Our own crew

No subcontracting the parts that matter, so there is nobody to pass blame to.

  • A real schedule

Start and finish dates in writing, and a call if either moves.

  • Site left clean

Swept, tools away and debris gone at the end of every working day.

Our guarantee

If it moves, we come back

Everything we build carries a two-year workmanship guarantee on top of whatever the material manufacturer offers. That is not a marketing line — it is why we spend the money on base depth and drainage that a cheaper quote skips.

The crew that built it is the crew that comes back. There is no warranty department to argue with.

  • Two-year workmanship guarantee in writing
  • Material warranties registered in your name
  • The original crew handles any callback
  • No charge for anything that is our workmanship

Good to know

Common questions

Will it push my electricity bill up?

Barely. A typical LED scheme draws less than a single old incandescent bulb.

Can you add to it later?

Yes, provided the transformer has headroom. We size for that deliberately.

Do the lights need an electrician?

Only the outdoor socket for the transformer. Everything past that is low-voltage.

How long do the fittings last?

Solid brass fittings run for decades. LED lamps are rated around 40,000 hours.

Are the cables buried?

Yes, trenched and sleeved. We do not peg cable along the surface.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes, with a smart transformer or a Wi-Fi enabled timer.

What happens in winter?

The fittings are rated for it. We recommend marking them before snow clearing starts.

Will it annoy the neighbours?

No, if it is aimed properly. We shield and angle fittings to keep light off boundaries.

Do you repair other people's systems?

Yes, and we most often find undersized transformers or surface-run cable.

How long does an install take?

Most residential schemes are one to two days on site.
