Artificial Turf Installation

Pet-safe artificial turf for residential and commercial sites, on a drainage base built to survive frost. Serving Butler, Beaver, Allegheny County & surrounding areas.

The work

What this covers

Artificial turf fails for the same reason a real lawn does — what is underneath it. We excavate, then lay and compact an open-graded aggregate base that genuinely drains, and seam and infill the turf over the top. Built that way it sheds water faster than the clay it replaced, and it does not lift when the ground freezes and thaws all winter.

On homes that means the shaded strip where grass has never taken, pet runs, poolside and small yards nobody wants to mow. On commercial sites it is playgrounds, putting greens, rooftop terraces, medians and HOA common ground — anywhere the maintenance budget is the problem rather than the planting.

  • Site excavation and base build Open-graded aggregate compacted in lifts, so it drains and stays level
  • Turf specification Pile height, density and colour matched to how the area actually gets used
  • Seaming and infill Glued seams, with sand or antimicrobial infill for pet and play surfaces
  • Edging, drainage and clean-up Secured perimeter, falls that shed water, and the old lawn taken away

Why us

What you actually get for the money

Every quote covers the same standards, whichever service you are booking.

  • A fixed price

Quoted against a drawing or a measured scope, not an hourly estimate that drifts.

  • Licensed and insured

Certificates go out with the proposal without being asked for.

  • Built to depth

Bases excavated and compacted in layers — the part nobody sees and everything depends on.

  • Our own crew

No subcontracting the parts that matter, so there is nobody to pass blame to.

  • A real schedule

Start and finish dates in writing, and a call if either moves.

  • Site left clean

Swept, tools away and debris gone at the end of every working day.

Our guarantee

If it moves, we come back

Everything we build carries a two-year workmanship guarantee on top of whatever the material manufacturer offers. That is not a marketing line — it is why we spend the money on base depth and drainage that a cheaper quote skips.

The crew that built it is the crew that comes back. There is no warranty department to argue with.

  • Two-year workmanship guarantee in writing
  • Material warranties registered in your name
  • The original crew handles any callback
  • No charge for anything that is our workmanship

Good to know

Common questions

Is it safe for dogs?

Yes. Pet installs use an antimicrobial infill over a free-draining base, so urine rinses straight through.

How long does it last?

Ten to fifteen years on a home lawn. Less on a commercial site taking daily foot traffic.

Does it get hot in summer?

In full sun it runs warmer than grass. Most of what we install is shade or part-shade, where it stays comfortable.

Will it drain in heavy rain?

Faster than the clay underneath it, provided the base is built for it. That is most of the job.

Can you lay it over concrete?

Yes, with a shock pad and drainage mat. Common on rooftop terraces and commercial courtyards.

Do you build putting greens?

Yes, residential and commercial, using a shorter pile over a rolled base for a true roll.

What maintenance does it need?

A rinse and a brush a few times a year, plus leaf clearing if it sits under trees.

Is it cheaper than a real lawn?

Not to install. It pays back over roughly five to seven years of mowing, water and reseeding.

Will it survive a Western PA winter?

Yes. Snow and ice do not damage it, and a correct base means no frost heave.

Do you take commercial contracts?

Yes, including playgrounds, HOA common areas, medians and sports surfaces. References on request.
